Priced my car and he bought it!

There I was minding my own business at a all Corvette Show Saturday at the Riverwind Casino in Norman Oklahoma. A guy is looking at my Black C5 with his girlfriend but is going on and on about how cool he thinks my car is. Finally he ask " Do you know whose car this is?" "Mine"I answer. "Wow you don't want to sell it do you?" I say anything is for sale and I priced it. To make a long story short, he shows up today with the money I said I'd take so I sell it! So I'm in the market and looking as Cruise Fest is only 2 weeks away. Fortunately the world is full of Corvettes for sale and I don't think finding one will be any problem!

Cool deal, Jim! Sorry I couldn't make the show Saturday, but saw bunches on their way to Riverwind on my way down I-35 to meet my brother from TX.
There are 3 C5's and a C6 at "friendly Chevy" on South Walker & I-240. The silver vert has a little drool on the hood, but...

I've thought about it a lot and when I pass on my '98 to the next caretaker, I'm seriously considering an '04 CE convertible. Not in the foreseeable future, but it is there in the back of my mind.

I am thinking of probably an 03 red convertible to keep my 03 Z06 company, next summer, the issue is whether to locate a six speed or go with an automatic.

I know it will also have to have HUD after reading the responses I received here on the board.

Like you said....everything is for sale! Mine is an 04 CE Conv. with every option. 6 speed and 11k. Garage kept and still has the "new car smell" ,Corsa Touring at back,Carbon fiber intake,ZO7 red brake calipers and front screens.All orig parts kept and have. I'm not selling unless its an offer I can't refuse...like you got.

The salesman from Mark Heitz that was at the show was making deals for in stock new '07 Vettes at "INVOICE". So, you might want to check with him for a deal on a new C6 just for the hell of it.

Today I bought a 04 Medium Spiral Grey Coupe with 31,000 miles. Got it from the big Cadillac Dealer in OKC! I'm supposed to pick it up tomorrow afternoon and I'll post some pics over the weekend.
