Back in 2004 I had to sell my '96 Grand Sport, and I have been Corvette'less ever since. Well until today that is. I decided it had been long enough, and I was going to remidy the situation, so I went to a local Chevy dealership and test drove 2 'Vettes. Both '08 6-speed coupes. The first one was the new Jet stream Blue Metallic, a pretty color, but not as nice as the previous Le Manse Blue. It was a nice car, but I wasnt too happy with the color or the options. It was fully loaded, power everything, memory package, the works. The sales person asked what I wanted and I told them a bare-bones (or as bare-bones as Corvettes come these days
) black coupe. About 15 minutes later a beautiful
black coupe pulls up wearing a set of amazing gun metal wheels. Her only options were the dual-mode exhaust and the competition wheels. It was lust at first sight.
Long story short, I took her for a test drive, and she is now sitting in my garage. Of course, being that I live in the Pacific Northwest, Mother Nature decided to help me celibrate by snowing. Yup, there was snow falling from the sky during my test drive!!! In April!!!

Anyway, on to the important stuff, the pictures!
