Alternator Thanks for the reply ZHZ. I do need a multimeter for sure. I pulled the alt. off the engine and had it bench tested. Diode trio was gone. I bought and installed a rebuild kit for $30. Works like new. :happyanim: 007.

Please Help. Today when I started my 81 vette, the battery light came on and the amps gauge was well below 13. When I parked it the night before, everything was normal. I tested my battery using my charger and it was close to 13. Did my alternator somehow pack it in over night? I don't have a...
