    Disc Brakes for a '62

    Anybody have a recommendation on Disc brake conversion kits for a '62? I have looked at a few manufacturers, and think SSBC has a good quality product in their Force 10 twin piston aluminum calipers. BTW, I'm also looking for a conversion kit for a '55 Thunderbird, but SSBC doesn't seem to go...

    Can someone tell me what exact headers will fit in the '62? I think Hooker headers #2456-1 will work. They are ceramic coated, which I wanted, and seem to be the right ones. I called Hedman, and Holley, and they gave me completely different numbers, that were for '63 and newer. It's hard to get...

    Big Block Thanks for the responses. What is a 434 SBC, where could I get one, and, do I have to upgrade the trans and rear? I wasn't sure if the RamJet would be higher than a carburated motor. I would like to make it fuel injected. Dan

    Hey, all! This looks like a great site. IH2LOSE turned me on to this. I hope to put a high performance motor in my '62. I was thinking of a 502, or a 427, but I'm worried about the problems I might face, like space under the hood, and headers. A 350/383 fast burn motor might be a better bet...
