Question: Found a little oil on inside of left rear tire, what can cause this?

I agree, that's where the brake fluid leaked on mine when the calpier started to leak.

    Corvette enthusiast...dead!

That's what I ended up doing. Since I renewed mine fairly recently, late September, I was able to get a credit back on my credit card. I asked the credit card rep what would happen if the magazine fought it, she sais as far as they're concerned, it's a closed case. We'll see. I had it happen...

    Corvette enthusiast...dead!

Has anyone else received their first issue of Auto Enthusiast? Apparently it's taking over for Corvette Enthusiast, as well as Ford, Mopar and others. It's all wrapped up into one magazine. I just got mine, I do not like it and I will not be subscribing to it. :mad OK, I'm done. Check it...

Yes it needs to be vented. Just put a vented gas cap on it.

    Question: Well. . .that didn't work . ..

I just did this exact repair on mine this Spring, using Gary's excellent guidance. No leaks yet :thumb. Thank you Gary. The only thing I'll add is on the installation tool I used. It was just a 16" long piece of schedule 40 PVC I had laying around, I believe it was 3". It worked better than...

    1971 C3 Start/no start-crank condition

I installed one of these remote solenoids on mine after being fed up with hot soak restart problems. Never had a problem since. And my starter did/does have the production heat shield. Good luck.

My 1974 Corvette Video, Enjoy !!!

Very nice car! Awesome video. Sweet burnout :upthumbs. Cool song. But...Slow Ride in a CORVETTE video? ;shrug How about "I can't drive 55" - Hagar? or lesser known "takin' a ride" (heavy metal) - Don Felder? I personally prefer the latter of the two. But hey what do I know? At least you...

Help! Water pump to crank belt too loose??????

Right, I am currently running without the crank to W/P belt, idler pulley, A/C and A.I.R. My understanding of the belt setup on that engine was because of all of the extra accessories: A/C and A.I.R system. I am only running with power steering and alternator. So I have one belt from crank to...

Help! Water pump to crank belt too loose??????

Here are a few pictures of my idler pulley and bracket. It's currently not on the car, along with the belt or the A/C. The first pic shows the adjustment slot, second shows how to access the lower bolt through one of the pulley holes and the third just shows the water pump stud attachment...

    Trailing arm

This is what I used: Seems a bit brutal maybe, but I couldn't see another good way to do it. I didn't like the torch idea, especially since the passenger side is so close to the fuel line. Plus it worked pretty well.
