Haven't had to mess with mine yet, but from what I've read, after you remove the license plate, remove inboard lights and then reach through their hole to get to outers.

Good way to pack the cooling system is to: remove rad cap run engine till thermostat opens reach over from the passenger side and hold throttle open, keeping the rpm around 2000 fill rad and replace cap release throttle

It's carbon fibre overlay, the cheap plastic is just behind it. :) Theses kits are available all over the net. :w

The ECM is the boss of idle and the IAC is it's slave. I would imagine if you could turn the min idle screw out far enough, the ECM would not be able to compensate. There is a specific procedure for setting the min idle, if your mechanic does not know how, get a new mechanic or one who can...

The bore for throttle shaft is probably elongated and your blades are binding in bore. If you pull the TB, you can look into the bores and see where the blades are catching. Lightly sand the blade at contact point until there is no contact. Rock the shaft back and forth, up and down, and confirm...

I would contact David Koldos and have him rebuild your stocker. For less than $200, you would have a 52mm TB with bearings on shaft.

I don't see how the outer window seal could cause wet carpets. The rain would find the bottom of door and drain out.

I found some polished aluminum ones on Ebay. They were listed for chevy truck, but are centerbolt like the vette's. I paid $70 including shipping. I don't recall the vendor, but an Ebay search may yield the info.
