from what I've read GM has coolant going through the TB to prevent it freezing in COLD weather. VERY COLD weather. SInce you don't drive the car in very cold weather it wouldn't hurt anything to bypass it. The aftermarket TBs don't have the connection for the coolant. You can check out how...
