Had to do mine on my 88...was not that difficult and the bushings were less than ten bucks. I just did one side at a time and the second side went very quickly. I found an awesome website that had excellent instructions and photos...i printed all of them and have them in the garage somewhere...

oldvet...you can also make this tool by heating up the rod and bending to those specs...I am going to carry mine in the car until I use some of the tricks other guys in the forum have used, like running an extra cable under the wipers to the relase mechanism...you can see some of these tricks if...
