No cats does make a nice difference. Mine is true duels no cats and sounds awesome!

Does it look crooked or are the pulleys on a different plane? If the P/S pulley is crooked. Make sure that the pivot bolt is tightened completely.

Bummer about the valve cover bolt. There are numerous methods to remove them. It all depends on what is left of the bolt. If it sheared flush with the valve cover then you may be able to get away with using vise grips to turn it out. If it sheared flush with the head just have patience with the...

The guy who bought the car is in MA. He is an Ebay'er so I told him about this site. He was aware of all of the places to look when buying an older Vette but he is by no means a mechanic. I'm sure that he he could use the help.
