Camaroish
I agree with you. I have not been on here in many months, so was totally unexposed to any conversation about the new Vette having a Camaro look. When I opened the photo, the first reaction I had was...Camaro-like tail lights. Of course the overall back does not look like a Camaro...
What I find surprising--and very disappointing if true--is that the CD player cannot be used while using the Nav system. I've never heard of such a limitation. With the price of memory as low as it is, I'd have thought any need to update nav data bases could be done by loading a DVD and...
My guess its all about marketing image. GM doesn't need to sell many 625HP Vettes to claim they have a car with more pickup than a Viper or GT40. Given that Ford will have the GT40 and Chrysler the Viper, there may be a feeling they don't want the Corvette image to fall to a second tier...

This is a common issue with many of the exotics. I once looked at buying a used Ferrari or Lamborghini, which can be had for much less than a relatively new Vette. The problem was I learned I could pay as much as the price of a cheap car every time I did hit a major maintenance milestone...
Not sure if that is still true or not. It appears they may no longer be in business. They no longer own the web site they had registered at www.avelate.com, and there don't seem to be any new links.

Goodness! Why wait for a C-6? If you want something hard to control, just go out and buy a Viper! LOL Seriously, I am a daily driver of a Z06, and I don't mind loud noise, stiff suspension, or a limited ability to hear my CD player with music hall reproduction fidelity...so long as it...
