    C4 ignition key needed

If all you need is a duplicate, look in your local phone book for a full service locksmith. That's all I did, the "lock and key" shop had a machine that measured the correct key value and from that they matched me with the right blank. Works every time, and it cost a whopping 19.00 for...

Looking for good tree sap remover.

WD-40 definitely works! Spray a bit on a cloth then rub the resin spot, it will take it right off and not hurt the clear coat. When all the resin is removed wash the area with dawn dish washing detergent, dry the area, then re apply your favorite polish or wax.

    72 Coupe - 28 Years and Counting

Great pictures and narrative. I am definitely hooked! Please continue to update, I really want to see how it all finished out. I'm hoping to begin my own trail of tears on an early C3 soon. Sounds a lot like we are about the same age, of the same era. Keep up the great work, you now...

    Showstopping 1995 Corvette Coupe

I save the mundane drives ( to and from work, grocery, errands, etc.) for the mundane cars. When I wanna CRUISE, I do it in my cruise machine!

    Wheels dull

I will "second" the Mother's recommendation. It works really well. Take your time and be prepared to use a little muscle on it!

What makes you choose the Corvette as your car of choice.

My first love was a '67 Vette. Of course, It belonged to someone else. Our affair started in the mechanic pit of the garage I worked in as a kid. It was my first experience replacing u-joints on a corvette, and it definitely was a learning experience. The job took way longer than it should...

What brand tools do you hack with?

The bulk of my tools are a mix of Craftsman and Snap On. Almost all of them are between 30 and 40 years old. My biggest problems with both brands has been keeping them in my tool box. Periodically I have to do a sweep of the entire house to find the stuff that "walked" out of the garage...
