    Holley Carb $

Rainman, Congrats on the car! Mine was missing the correct carb when I bought it too. I found a 4555, metering block stamps 6333 and 4519 with a correct 3 digit date code for my car for $425 but in serious need of a rebuild and/or complete restoration. I went for the restoration, (which is...

Gas and Oil recommendations for '70 LT-1?

I appreciate all the expert advice! Sounds like I can save some $'s on the synthetic oil and use it for more parts! I just wanted to make sure I didn't damage anything in the motor by going cheap.

    Pulse amplification box?

Thanks rainman, I will try to get some numbers and post them. Are the cylinder head casting numbers and casting date exposed or under the valve covers? Trying to schedule some time with the owner to get back under the hood. I am trying to justify buying this hopefully real '70 LT-1 that will...

    Assistance requested

From what I've read and seen, cars equipped with the LT-1 engine have the aluminum intake and Holley carbs which do not require the fuel return line.

Need help in decode of 1970 LT-1 I am posting this myself because I forgot to mention the car has basically sat in a garage and only used sparingly for the last approx 20 yrs. as evident by old mouse nest under wiper door and acorn shells on intake. The car does have correct dash badging...

1970 LT-1 if real and worth restoring? Hi, This is my first posting and I find the information about 1970 LT-1's extremely helpful on trying to decode a car to tell if it's the real deal. I recently came across a 1970 convert and the guy that owns it has very little information on it. First red...
