I have 41K plus, 3rd owner. Mostly driven for local shows and cruises and a occasional visit to the local Sonic Drive In. It still commands looks and comments wherever it goes.:upthumbs

thanks fellas. i am pretty sure it's not the tcc solenoid as i have replaced that. it's under the driver's side of tranny. i believe it may be either vaccum or egr. i will be going out this week end to a cruise. maybe another 81 will be there that i have seen before and listen to his. will...

what is the red electrical thigamagig that sits to the rear of the carb on passenger side. it must be some kind of sensor. anyway, mine ticks intermittently. is it suppose to at all. if not i guess i had better replace it. but don't know what it is. any help. thanks. terry

The 1980 nose emblem is the same "except" it is chrome. Fine artist brush and enamel black paint will do the job and no one the wiser. 1980 emblems are available in most after market catalogs. Went to the muffler shop today and got new mufflers. Gotta love 60 degree December weather in Tn...

John does a collasped bladder mean tank should be replaced as well?

The guage stays at just below the "F" regardless how much gas is in the tank with one exception. When I fill it up it pegs itself to the right of the "F". Was reading where the C5 drivers have same problems and most of them have used an additive and seems to have fixed their problems...
