No I have never messed with heater core or hoses before. I was actually wondering if I could check the core hoses from firewall side?

I have an 84 vette. One day I noticed that a pretty good stream of water was coming out of the area where coolant lines enter firewall. I am guessing that it is also where heater core is also placed. At first I thought it was sweating coolant lines so I turned off A/C letting the car to continue...
