    ABS module replacement

I found out there is a difference, the modulator valve (pump) comes with and without active brake control. Just a fyi the part number of the modulator with the active brake control is 10417038 which is the V version.

    ABS module replacement

Does anyone know if the ABS pump (it's a 2000 corvette) can be used with either the M or V electronic module? My electronics are ok but the pump has bad threads on one of the output ports. The existing unit is a V.

    Ignition lock cylinder

My key rotates in the ignition after some effort of pulling in and out and wiggling. I purchased a new ignition lock cylinder and tumblers, but the cylinder does not look like the one in the factory manual, has the Mickey Mouse ears around the key. Does anyone have a diagram showing the C5 lock...

    Help! 99 Keyfob Issue

Training and learning are the same. During the "process you should be asked for the second fob to train. Is the battery new? You should try to hold both the lock and unlock buttons at the same time standing near the car after replacing the battery if needed.

    Help! Forgetful Keyless entry :(

Mine also had a problem that was intermittent and the problem was the solder joints of the crystal oscillator in the top right hand corner (key slot down). Thanks, FLIR_man

    00 automatic no reverse

Starting at light the car went out of drive went back into drive with a loud bang. Then there was a high squeel and no real forward motion that matched the engine speed. Nursed it back to 45 then everything was ok going forward. When I started the car after setting it will not go into reverse...

    New and strange sound...???

In order to put the car in gear you have to depress the brake. I believe you herd the wear indicator as mention previously.

Has anyone had this issue in the cold only?

I had the same problem on my 2000 and it was the "dog bone" links at the end of the torsion bar. I also changed the bushings since I was under the car.

Problem with the Active Handling and ABS

Daga, Did cleaning the grounds solve the problem? Thanks, Gary

    Heater fan has broken blade.

Most likely the fan sucked in a leaf and the fan is no longer balanced and now it sounds like a blade missing (if there were blades).

Problem with the Active Handling and ABS

No problems driving with the TCS off as long as you drive sensibly

Problem with the Active Handling and ABS

Daga My guess would be a ground connection for the steering rate sensor return. There are many post on ground locations and how to clean. I would try that before I bought a new rate sensor.

Problem with the Active Handling and ABS

You need to look at the codes. There are many things that cause the active handling warning to come on. Press and hold the options button while pressing the fuel button four times and the codes will be displayed.

    Air Conditioner Problem

Hold the options button down while pressing the fuel button four times. The car will go through all of the computers and list what the codes are if any. HVAC comes after the Radio. BTW not stupid for asking!

Headlights Work - Doors Won’t Open?

The gear is close to "total" failure. The noise you hear is the motor turning and the stripped gear not turning. It will not be long before the light will not raise. There is a person on ebay that sells brass gears.
