Who here is planning on purchasing a new ZR1?

Yes, I am planning on buying one. Just like LMOO5, I have been on the waiting list for several years.

    DEAD BATTERIES

I have had a similar experience. My 2007 Z06 battery would be dead if I didn't drive the car for a week. Very aggravating when you just want to jump in the car and go. It went to the dealer who said it was fine. As soon as it sat for a week again in my garage - dead. That's part of the reason...

2007 Lemans Blue Z06 for sale

Thanks, I think I did OK as well. I certainly lost money in the big picture. But I try not to look at it that way. I'm thinking I had a terrific car for 18 months and now it's time to move on to the next one. The enjoyment factor does not come without a price.... I actually had a dealer willing...

2007 Lemans Blue Z06 for sale

Thanks for the PM's. The car has been sold for $65K!

2007 Lemans Blue Z06 for sale

Next week - likely an Escalade ESV. Vettewise, I'm patiently waiting for the ZR-1. Have had deposit down and been on a waiting list for over 2 years.....

2007 Lemans Blue Z06 for sale

If anyone's in the market, I have a mint condition 2007 Z06 with all options and 992 miles. I'm planning to trade the car on Monday 2/18/08 and the dealer is giving me $65K in trade. If interested, please send me a PM and I'll send you pics, window sticker, whatever you need. I think I'm getting...

News: Chevrolet's Special '427 Limited Edition Z06' Salutes Classic 427 Corvettes

I have to admit - it is a good looking car. Wish they'd have done something else (perhaps a little tweak to the horsepower) to differentiate it a little more to help justify the upcharge.

(Fast forward fifteen years) 2008 Crystal Red Met. vs. 1993 Ruby Red

There's not too many colors I don't like on a Vette!! Having seen them both in person, I can't say I favor one over the other - they both look nice. I do love that GM tries to change things up from time to time, but alot of colors seem destined to not have long production runs. I know 2 folks...

    2007 Z06 @Carlisle - need to find a good home

Less than 2 weeks to go to until Corvettes @Carlisle! I will be bringing my Lemans Blue Z06 - I've had it less than a year but unfortunately it must go. The car has every factory option available and will have less than 1000 miles on it after the drive to Carlisle. The MSRP on the car was...

    Corvette Z07 Spied

I'm on a waiting list for this one - excited to see them top the current Z06 - it's a fantastic car that I have enjoyed owning and driving. Will likely be selling it this year at Carlisle.

    1970 LT-1 on Ebay - Wow!

It's nice to see these cars with strong pricing. They never really took off like I thought they would - such limited production and high horsepower to displacement. Mine has 64K original miles on it with a frame off restoration. Maybe one day it will be worth what I have put into it.

    1994 ZR-1 For Sale - 3k Miles

Looking for one like this - ideally want a 95 but I will consider a 94. Can't wait to see the pictures!

New York Times: That ’70s ’Vette: Just Another Girly Car?

My 70 LT-1 was a Dec 1969 build date. I believe that and the fact that horsepower exceeded engine displacement officially leaves me out of the "70's...girly vette" category ;)

Electron Blue vs. Le Mans Blue!

I think they are both great colors. I love the red and blue contrast on the exterior of my Z06. Blue is just a really cool sports car color and they don't make too many of them, so they typically do well on resale.

    MORE Photos From The CarConnection!

Hib, Any elaboration on why you think it's likely 2009 model year car? I tend to agree with you but just wanted to hear your experienced insight. It seems to me that at least a 3 year rollout of their existing supercar (starting in 2006) seems more reasonable. You can't reinvent the wheel every...
