1992 lt1 primary fan comes on at 228 f. and off at 218 f. factory says on at 219 f. and off at 178 f. shows no codes. have replaced CTS,oil temp not high. secondary fan comes on like it should with ac .primary works fine just coming on and off at wrong temp. any suggestions.

problem solved. 92 lt1 cooling fans coming on early. previous owner installed rheostat in radiator to make fans come on early and stay on, for road racing I am told.disabled rio switch and fans come on and off close to factory settings. Yes I have factory service manual, it is a must with this...

got a92 lt1 booth cooling fans come on about 105 degrees , have replaced cooling temp sensor,did not help.throws code 28.cleared code started engine and fans still come on bout 105. pluse code 28 returned. any sugestions. thanks ,happy pappy 92.
