Hot rod roy - sorry i thought i put the year in , its a 85, i was told it had a switch under the hood on them, so how do they go out if there is no switch sorry for caps , im mostly asleep

thanks, i thought thats what it needed was just a power from bat, since car was grounded well the fuel pump relay pig tail was replaced /wired and just twisted together ,not making good conections so i re did it with good connectors and its working now thanks again --also- the reason i had so...

b4 takeing out the sending unit , test the pump wires with a meter turn key on e you should have 12 volts i believe to the pig tail if no power the problem isnt the pump, also check the relay listen see if its clicking on when you hit the key
