Made the plunge, installed an HD D36 w/3.73 gearing. ALso, trans rebuild, 2000 stall converter, shift kit etc. Problem now is, We need to re-calibrate the PCM to 3.73 as the shift points are way off and "searching". We knew this and thought the local Computer tune company can flash the pcm...
So, 10 days ago, my 3rd !!! replament top in about 6 years broke/cracked ! :mad
3rd "Melrose' replacement top just snapped driving down the road in cold weather, junk tops ---> Melrose imho:mad.
So the issue is; I want to do this replacement with a "hardtop" & paint it to match our car...

Don't know if it qualify's as the "best", but I am very happy with the SLP Tri-pod intake I put on my 96 LT1. We installed it while the car was hooked up to the dyno, and it showed 17 h.p. increase alone.:thumb
Speaking of safe winter storage, a co-worker years ago said she stored hers in a huge air plastic sealed bag, anyone ever here of that??? Would ask her, but sadly she died in a crash a few years ago.
HAPPY DAY!! They found 2 of the dead basterds and a nest the size of a softball under the shifter boot between the floorpan. Uggg finally. Now gotta figure somewheres to keep it safe next winter.
Sat in the sun all day, :puke ...................... back to the dealer. However, on the way, I leaned on the armrest in the center console and got a whiff. opened the door and took a snort . OMG. So the complete console is coming apart today.:mad:mad:mad:mad
Well, my dealer did a nice job, altho no carcass found. Pulled the heater motor, cleaned out as far as could reach, injected an alcohol circulation through the evaporator, and 2 days of an ozone cleaner. No smell, but irks me we can't find the culprit. Just hope the smell and headaches do not...
Well, the little basterds got me good this winter ........... I thought I would try "D-con", worked great as they took it all. Guess where I found it all ................. inside the passenger door flip compartment, and yes it killed something because the smell has made me nauseous and...
Yep 9.5's, so if they advertise as 91-92 ZR1 they should match my rear 11x17's ? Thanx guys! :thumb
I reviewed my C4 wheels page I saved and I see that now, but it does not say "painted" but says "cast" but does signify the 91-92's in a separate category.
