I have been a widow since 2008. When My husband was sick he said to me one day, my life will not be complete unless I have a Corvette. I had been saving some money for a new kitchen, my father in law had passed away and we knew my husband was terminal. He purchased several cars after the death of his father. We had been flipping cars our whole lives, as he was a Hungarian Refugee and his father was a master mechanic. The Communists Russians kept visiting him and asking him to join the party, when he refused they took all his tools.
He was a great teacher and so was my Tom. We met in 1980 while I was trying to be a heavy Duty Parts apprentice, I ran the stock room for a concrete company. I was 18 and he was a 26 year driver.
When I lost him, I didn't want to loose my connection to the cars, it had been my whole live, everyone kept trying to get me to sell they still do, but I am not going to loose that too.
It is hard to be a girl that loves cars. I kept the two best cars and I have been trying to learn how to be self sufficient.
I am in the midst of starting a girls car club in Vernon BC Canada Called the Ali-Katz. I thought I can be like any man, if you don;t like the rules you start your own, your own religion or your own car club. We will not discriminate. We want the men to join to, as long as they are respectful and are willing to teach and encourage us to love the same cars you all do. Remember we are someones daughter. My father had 4 daughters he told me I could be what ever I wanted, unfortunately he didn't tell the rest of the world.

Just a girl that loves her cars. Corvette Therapy is a real thing, everyone should get a change to try it. Vroom Vroom, gotta love the sound of those side pipes, they make my heart glad.
