Help! No power to fuel pump on 1982 crossfire AGAIN

??? I was wondering about that, because a year ago when I cleaned everything I noticed the shrink tube sealing the wires was cracked so I painted the wires in/out with a fuel tank sealer. Wonder what does that filter do and is it needed??????

    1982 crossfire-bad idle_ dies

:w Hello, I checked out the TPS and it tested fine, someone told me the EGR valve could possibly be bad so I pulled the line off and stuck a bolt in it as a plug and seems to be running fine now, it seems to be idling too high and will still cough but only when stomping pedal to the floor...

Here's what I've done; that fuel pump was alittle weak and with all that rust I did put in a '85 fuel pump which "seemed" to help but she got hot because thermostat stuck, it did run worse after getting hot. I...

    1982 crossfire-bad idle_ dies

I checked tab and it is at bottom, at idle injectors have a good spray, but on acceleration dead spot at about 25% throttle at which time spray drops to almost nothing but push further and spray comes back. Is spray going away because of dead spot or lack of spray causing dead spot? Since this...
