    If it's like a 1986 column there's four bolts down deep that need to be tighten ,when you have it that far apart ,I would take them out and put Loctite on them ,then they will not back out .

    Hi ,I'm new to this site ,and have had my 1986 for two weeks now , I have just started to fix what I know need fixed and then will go from there ,it will be a nice winter project
