With it not working in either lock OR unlock, it is a safe bet that it is NOT the "Door Module". It sounds like either a wiring problem from the Module to the Actuator or the Actuator is bad.

First thig to do is remove the ribbed, black plastic/rubber strip on the last bar on each side of the decklid. Take a small, thin bladed screwdriver and pry it up between the strip and the plastic end cap at the front of the bar. Underneith yoy will find at least 2 screws that hols the bars to...
The short answer is YES, they will work. BUT you need to buy and install a "conversion kit" that Chevrolet does NOT sell anymore. There is one particular vendor on ebay that sometimes advertises a glass window top for 86-93 Corvettes and they will include THEIR version of Chevrolet's conversion...
I don't have good news for you. You will more than likely have to replace all the weatherstrips. There is almost no way to get to the screws that hold the convertible top retainers. The retainers are the black metal plates that the weatherstrips set into and are glued VERY well from the factory...

There are a number of thing that can cause this problem but you REALLY need to have a scanner put on the car to properly test it.
One problem that is well known on 82s is the ORIGINAL "Coolant Temprature Sensor", in the front of the intake manifold, going bad and sending a signal to the...
The biggest secret I have found to keeping most ANY C3 running cooler at highway speeds is MAKING SURE the radiator is sealed to the radiator support so ANY air is drawn thru the radiator core and not around the side tanks.
At the top left of the "page" there are 3 boxes with red xs in them. Click on the box at the right. You need to do this for each page to display the next.
