I'm dealing with this same issue I looked at mine ,wheels on the ground and engine running and I did see some off center non movement. I'm gonna jack it up tomorrow and look again. Should your engine be running when doing this? 76 did you make a move on yours yet?
No I haven't, but it's still eating at me I'll keep you posted I haven't had a lot of time to work on it but I have been running it a good bit. Who wants to go everywhere at 100 mph anyway
Thanks for the heads up Bill. My problem is slight by the fenders my major area was at the windshield which I'm still working with with pretty good results so far!
Computers make me crazy I can barely surf the net without wiping out anyways thanks for the help posting the pic.The shaft is old, paint and U's are new one new halfshaft all new joints at first no vibes then they came back so it has to be alignment
