The only redeeming point I see in that design is that, if it catches on, those who must have the "latest and greatest" will be dumping their C6s in droves, driving those prices way down.

I have both a 69 and a 93. If I could (and I know it can be done with enough $$) I would very happy to have the comfort, power and handling of the C4 in the C3 body.

Mostly Craftsman and Huskey (Home Depot). A few good sources for older tools (usually made in USA), yard sales or flea markets. Also, (this may sound ghoulish), but if a local mechanic dies you might want to check with his widow to find out if she want to sell his tools.

You could try gutting them. I've seen a lot of threads on this forum about that.

C5 wheels will fit but the rears are 18". You can compensate for this by using a 35 aspect ratio tire instead of the 40s, or you could buy two sets of 17" front wheels.

You might want to make sure you have a good selection of metric sockets and wrenches in addition to the standard ones you've been using on your C3s. Also a good assortment of Torx drivers. (You'll be surprised at how many of these you'll come across).
