I have the Holley Intech CAI on my Z06, good for 40+ rwhp according to the dyno sheet advertised by Holley. The improvement is more modest on the LT1 (about 20 rwhp).

It turns out that the NHTSA site I posted above is not VIN specific (I spits out any recall on a model and year, although only some vehicles in that model/year may be affected). Anyway, a better way to find out if your Corvette is affected is to register at the GM owners site and input your VIN...

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I'm also getting the impression that brake dust is just a fact of C5 life. It just concerned me when the Vette Tech at the dealer seemed surprised by the extent of the dust coverage on the car. Thanks again, Steve
