    Cigarette Lighter Ground Wire

Alright Yall, I know I'm gonna get punched in the nose for this but I'm putting my interior back together (1982) and I'm not sure about the ground wire with a metal ring for the Cigarette Lighter. I think, the two housing separate and then put the ring on and screw them back together and it...

    1982 Wiper Switch (Light)

Ok...I see what you're saying, it already has power, it just needs a socket with a bulb in it. I don't remember pulling one out of it but it has been a while since removed it and maybe I have it somewhere. Thanks a lot...I'll pursue that.

    1982 Wiper Switch (Light)

Thank you Captain Obvious : ) I'm very well aware of the hole for the light. The problem is I have nothing that plugs into it. Someone mentioned that socket and wire came off the plug for the switch but as you can see I have plugged in the only 2 plugs that go on the switch....and there...

    Dash Lights - 1982

Hello Everyone, I bought a new Wiper Switch and it looks like it has an opening for a light bulb to go in but I do not have a wire / bulb socket under the dash. I'm kind of perplexed. So, obvious questions: 1. Does a bulb go in there? 2. What color are the wires? The only light under there...

    Power Seat Switch

You're right it's only one plug coming off the seat track. Also, I got lucky the guy who sold me the seat track also had wiring harness and switch. I got it for $100 bucks...what a deal! Back to work!

    Power Seat Switch

I backed myself into a corner. I found someone who sold me a power seat track for my 1982, I thought the switch would be easy to get and it's out there but not the wiring harness. I'm not sure what it all looks like and I'm pretty confused. The Power Seat Switch that I've seen online, only...

    Carpet Installation Question - 1982

I'm putting in new carpet and read the stories of This & That but I haven't seen anyone say that they use glue to help? Some of the pictures I've seen are amazing and it's hard to believe that they didn't use glue....So, what's the word? Good Idea, Bad Idea or Don't use a lot.....?

Need some Help with the Seats (1982)

I'm trying to remove the little Nut/Caps from the sides of my seats. They hold on two different covers right where the top folds over. The don't unscrew and I'm worried about damaging them by prying to hard. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Possible Temp Gauge Problem

Well...I've been re-testing the gauges and I think they're ok now. The Water Temp gauge is just slow to move around, which is not what I expected. I think the problem with it might be the sending unit. I'll replace it and then run the engine for a bit and see what happens. Thanks again for...

    Possible Temp Gauge Problem

I'm questioning all my gauges now except the fuel gauge, Does anyone know which are the "Hot" wires and Ground wires on the: Oil Temp gauge - Water Temp gauge - Oil Pressure gauge - Battery gauge? I'm scared I fried the Printed circuit board trying to test these damn gauges because everything...

    Possible Temp Gauge Problem

Hello again, Before I put everything back together, I decided to check the Temp Gauge because before it never moved much. So I read the Willcox tech pages on it and it says put 12v on the top post (12 o'clock) and ground the 3 o'clock post. It didn't move (wasn't suppose too) Then with 12v...
