I'm looking into an 84 to start my Corvette ownership. I want to lightly modify the engine but, what does the stock 84 Crossfire flow in cfm? Some people measure the throttle bodies others measure the manifold itself. I know you can't go far in terms of power but Ya gotta start somewhere. What...
I got two for ya. Dynomax Super Turbos and Summit Racing brand Turbo mufflers. Dynomax Super Turbos have some throat to em but are expensive compared to Summits. The Summit mufflers are part number SUM-630225. Haven't tried these myself but sound good in some youtube videos. The Summit mufflers...
Will a 1963 to 1979 exhaust cross member bolt on a 1980 Corvette? I'm thinking of running a true dual under car exhaust but the 1980 cross member won't work. Is it as simple as bolting one off and bolting on the other cross member?
Comp Cams K12-211-2
I got a Comp Cam 268 High Energy cam in my 72 small block stock rebuild. Duration at .50 is 218 and .454 lift intake and exhaust. The perfect cam in my opinion for stoplight to stoplight action. Last time I took it to Atco I squealed even with the 3.36 rear ratio, turbo 400...

I mean the factory under car off road mufflers. This page will show you which ones. http://www.ecklers.com/product.asp?pf%5Fid=31913A&dept%5Fid=1267
I am planning out the exhaust system for my future project 59 and I want to know more about the "Off Road mufflers". What do they sound like and what the inside looks like and so on. Are they just factory glasspacks or a special design? I need as much details as I can get about these mufflers.
Has anyone one seen cfm flow tests on 2 1/2 inch SBC/BBC 65 to 67 side pipes? I was at the 06 Vettes at Carlisle and saw a restoration parts display. They had a cutaway of I believe an original 65 to 67 side pipe and the inside diameter was not 2 1/2 inches when it goes through the chamber...
Options for your side pipes
Go with SS and you'll never worry about rot out. A web site called www.sweet-thunder.com sells SS C2 Corvette Side pipes but they differ slightly from the correct original GM pipes. If you are going for NCRS I'd find NOS Original pipes or check a Corvette restoration...
I want to put a 427 big block into my 57 to 60 Hot Rod Corvette project that I am planning to do when I find a non-numbers matching car shell. What do I do to make this work? It is possible to do this because I have seen a guy on Ebay currently selling a 59 Corvette with a 396 big block installed.
