There is another significant reason for pre 1992 injectors failing...ethanol. The injectors from the the pre 1992 engines can not withstand the new fuel formulas in that the ethanol breaks down the solenoid coil>>>

At the very end, the C6R is coming around a bend at night. Is the red glow the brake disk glowing red hot?
I believe that was a C6R in the very last part but was a C5R just before that... but regardless the brake rotors are carbon ceramic and yes they will glow red to white red from the...

I am gathering production date info...and saw your 90 ZR is #312 and my 90 ZR is #566. Here is what I have detailed about my ZR thus the interest in what you know about your ZR:
On my 1990 ZR-1 (#566) build sheet there are two date references:

If the filter has never been changed you are most definitely past due...but with that said much depends on quality of fuel (from service station to service station that can be quite a range of excellent to crappy...latter meaning letting main tanks get low thus the gasoline pumped from them is...
I think the 16 & 20 mm will be a tighter fit...could not quite make it work (someone prior to me change out the filter and bung up the edges of the nuts a bit so might be the reason) so went to the 17 & 21 mm which were a bit loose but worked. Unless there is a reason I would go with the 16 & 20...
Really is not an issue...full or half full etc. The fuel feed line is pressurized by the fuel pumps/sender unit so with engine off line is depressurized.

For 1990 you would have a L where the P is shown in the VIN in the link.. next 5 for Bowling Green (ZR-1s were assembled there but the LT5 engine was made by MerCruiser in Stillwater OK) and then...
On my 1990 ZR-1 (#566) build sheet there are two date references:
SCHED. NO. DATE 0105917
DATE: 89/297
TIME: 12:37
The second number sequence would be 89 for 1989 and 297 for the 297th day of the year which would be 10/24/89...yet on the lower inside hood is a grease pencil marking 10 27...
Nuburgring in Germany...it is THE track for testing performance cars (most manufactures bring their cars there...regardless country of origin) and also is of course a track for competitions. Video is actually of the 21 kilometer Northern Loop opened in 1927. Good speeds are considered 6 min 30...
Approx. 1700 lbs and that is my point... light weight and lower horsepower = excellent track car... although the word 'spanked' was used I somehow don't support that view...Elise did pull off a pass which made most of us grin...no vette smashing here just delight of seeing what light weight and...
