Hello from the UK again! My next problem with the car is an erratic idle. Its fine when its cold, and ok ish when its upto temp, but if its left to cool down for say 10-15 mins and you restart it the idle speed fluctuates between 800-400 rpm quite wildly, feels like it will stall, its worse...

Hi Guys, ive just imported an 85 into the UK, however when I drive it it gets upto temp very quickly, about 190 degrees, but if I stop in traffic for say 30 seconds it gets upto 220-230 very quickly and the fans cut in and bring it down, but it soon gets back up, today it got to 240 after...

I don't have anything like that on mine, mines an 85 model but im trying to find out if it was built in 84, most of the boxes on the top of the sheet are blank, if I can prove it was built in 84 it will save me lots of money on UK import tax as if its over 30 years old its cheaper tax.
