    ZR-1 Aging process

I got my 95 a few years ago with 800 miles on it and has just gone over the 3,000 mile mark. It has never had a leak or any problem. Runs like new.

    Vettes on the Rockies ZR1's

The 3 yellow ZR-1's owners also had the same surname. Very family affair. Wonder how they sorted out who should have the '95.

    Who insures your ZR-1 ?

I just got my renewal for my 95 ZR-1 from Sneed, Robinson & Gerber. Went down a little this year to $696. Fully insured value, no limit on miles but not to be used as daily driver.

Won this cool ZR-1 poster on ebay!

Received my copy of the poster from E-Bay a few days ago. Looks great and now need to find a frame that doesn't cut anything out. They still have a few left.

    Passive Keyless Entry

If you or anyone is looking for a new PKE FOB, I got one last month from gmpartsdirect.com which was $85.20 plus $16.54 for handling and freight. Most ones on E-Bay are going for around this price with the added risk. GM part number for coupe is 10282929 and the convertible is 10282930.

    Differences between 93, 94, and 95's?

Jeffvette, I believe you can program the power key to stay on all the time. Mine was done by the previous owner at Haibeck. Have never moved the key since I have owned it.

Changing PKE FOB batteries - be careful

Many thanks to one of the C4 moderators Ray Belyea (Eagle85C4) for finding the fault in my FOB and fixing it. I would like to warn others when changing the battery to be careful when pushing the new one in. Looks like I must of pushed too hard and broke the circuit board a little causing the...

If you need a cheap code reader, the one at this site might work for you. www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=46030

Service Engine Soon light but no codes

I had the engine service soon light come on last week for my 1995 and had code H31 listed for module 4. There is no such code listed anywhere in the manual. The light was only on for one trip. Anyone know what might had caused this.

Question on Gear Change to 4:10

Don't forget you will probably need to change the speedometer correction gears as well.

    PKE System not working

Changed the battery in the FOB which tested out okay at 3V but the FOB still didn't work. Both door and hatch buttons not working. Tried re-programming the FOB several times but the PKE light doesn't stay on when FOB is nearby, meaning programming not working. When you walk away the car locks...

    Body Emblem Restoration

Thanks Interceptor430 and VetteGarage for the information on the Torx screw. Brought a set of bits today and ordered a new emblem as well. All I need now is for the body shop next door to find time to paint the lid.

    Body Emblem Restoration

While you are talking about fuel lid emblems which soon I have to source and replace, does any one know what type of head is on the screws holding the fuel lid to the hinge.? I have tried metric and imperial allen keys but none of these seem to fit. I have got small paint bubbles on my original...
