Hi Tom! Gosh it's good to hear from you! Thank you for replying, have been away for a long time because of health issues.
I would be very grateful if someone could help me find a way to fake out the system.

Thanks Wavedoggie. that's the problem, there's 8 and they will all need to be removed.
What I was hoping to do was find some kind of shop where they can disable it in the computer, I read that someone di that a few years ago.
But where do I go and how do they do it?
They were installed in July...
Hi guys, it's been a very long time since I visited. I still have my 2007 and it now has 65K on the clock.
In July of 2014 I had all the fluid leak out of all my magnetic ride control shocks.
I couldn't afford $3000 for four new GM shocks so I installed Bilsteins and used the Casper plugs from...
I bought the newest version of the DVD from GM, it was expensive, like $200 but it was worth it as the outdated one didn't even have my house. I don't have any problems with it. It has yet to not take me where I want to go. It reconfigures if you miss a turn or decide you want to go another...
Not me either.
I haven't been to this forum for a long time Rob, how are you? I just saw the recall. I have a 2007 but haven't had any issues with the lights. Do you recommend bringing it in anyway?
When I bought my 2007 off lease the dealer had to bring it in from L.A. I told them I wanted to inspect it first so they let me. As I was doing it I noticed a brand new harmonic balancer and when asked he told me there was a recall and they replaced it for free. That was 30K miles ago and...
Update
Well, if anyone has leaking F55 shocks I finally found out what to do.
I contacted the manufacturer of the shock simulators.
There's two things I can do.
The first I can't do because I don't have a programmer but instead of buying the simulators which are nothing more than shorting...
Hi Tom! How the heck are you? Yeah, I wrecked my gray C5. Made money on it though even though I only had it like six months.
Anyway, I agree. From what I've been reading and researching the mag ride control is garbage. Even the C7's have a recall for them!
I'm gonna go with Billstien's...
Well, I agree to a certain point. I HAVE to have a HUD. It's very difficult driving my wife's car without one. I'm that used to it. I actually think all cars should have a HUD, it would prevent some accidents.
I looked at the C7's and I didn't like some of the crap you're talking about...
If I leave the wire UNcut I will have a permanent DIC message and what's worse, it limits the speed to 80 MPH. So that's not an option.
In the PDF on Mid America and Eckler's they were pretty vague, saying you need to cut a blue wire near the module. I would imagine it has to be at the module...
Well I looked at all of them on Ebay and none are for 2007's. They have them from 2013 - 2008 only.
Now, does anyone know where the magnetic ride control module is located so I can cut a wire to it?
