    Question: Interior wiring 70 Vette

I began to pull the center console out (4 speed) while replacing the carpet. Don't have it all the way out yet but I did notice a couple of wires running under it from the rear of the car going forward. One was badly frayed; any idea where these wire go or what they are for? Or a wiring...

Question: 70 Vette Seat Belt Removal

Hi, I didn't have to replace the seat belt anchor bolts, it just took a breaker bar and they broke free. I think the carpet was replaced once or twice before so it wasn't that difficult. Good luck & a Happy New Year. Paul

Question: 70 Vette Seat Belt Removal

I'm replacing the carpeting in my 70 Vette. The bolts holding the seat belts in place seem to be impossible to turn (I have not put a breaker bar on them yet). Are they supposed to come out or do you cut the carpet around them? Appreciate the help. Paul

    VIN number 1968

I'm looking at a 68 with VIN194678S406116. From what I've read this should be for a convertible; problem is the car's a coupe. I've heard before that there's a VIN on the frame somewhere near the transmission. Does anyone know anything about that? Thanks, Paul
