I have the electrochromatic mirrors on my 01 convertible and the coating on the driver's side mirror has discolored. It almost looks like it melted down a bit. Can I get a new glass for this or will I have to order a new mirror?

I fixed it. It turned out to be fuse #6 under the floor. I decided to check all fuses and relays, when I found this one burnt out, I replaced it and all is well. Man, I was pretty :madfor a while

I just took both headlights and fog lamps off to put my factory front fascia back on. Once I reinstalled the headlights (fog lamps not connected) they will not go down. The lights turn on, but I can not hear the motors try to actuate. They were both fine prior to removal. Am I missing something...

I bought a 73 stingray from e-bay, saw pictures, the the motor was JUNK, and most of the parts were worn or missing. I would NEVER by a car of motorcycle without using the fine tooth comb. Spend a few hunderd, fly out and inspect it. Could save you big $$$ and give you peace of mind!

What were you HP gains? I figure if I am gonna pull the heads off, might as well go with full ported, over size valves ect. Perhaps I get teh Z06 heads worked on, get a decent cam and go. I am not really into racing my car, just want a littel more eye sucking power!

I have a 2001 convertible with a 6 speed. My friend is going to give me his stock heads and cam from an 03 Z06. Other than the obvious installation process, will I have to tune the car in any way? Timing ect?
