Hello again rhipsher.Sorry I didn't get back sooner.Took the flywheel cover plate off but didn't have enough room. I finally had to take transmission loose and slide it back. Then I used one of those extendable magnets to get broken shaft out. I could see it when the flywheel cover was off but...

I have a 1992 covette With six speed manual trans. Apparently slave cylinder shaft broke off and fell into housing . Is there an inspection door or any to get out without transmission removal? rks959@aol.com
