    Help! HOT AIR!

To adjust the heater core diverter valve only the passenger side dash panel needs to be removed. The diverter valve control control is attached to the valve on top of the air box in front of the passenger. Roger

    Help! HOT AIR!

After seven years of searching for my car's hot air issue I found the seal between the firewall and the fender on the passenger side was broken. This allowed the hot engine compartment air to feed into the plenum by the passenger pick panel and up into the HVAC blower fan and into the duct work...

    73 A/C VIR Adjustment

So should I turn the POA valve a 1/4 turn. I currently have 30 psig on the low pressure side. I am using Freeze12 as the refrigerant. It looks like each time I need to adjust the POA valve I need to 'drain' the system, evacuate and then then refill. What a pain and it may become expensive...

    73 A/C VIR Adjustment

I just read a one year old post about A/C systems on this forum. In the post it is mentioned about adjusting the POA valve to lower the evaporator temperature. In the 73's the POA valve is mounted inside the VIR and not readily accessable. Can this POA valve be adjusted for a lower evaporator...

    1973 Corvette Database/Registry

Thanks for the info KOPBET. One question about your options: is the CV5 correct or is it GV5. I have no listing for a CV5, but the GV5 is for a 3.36:1 rear end with the M21 transmission and the LS4 engine. I would like to get more info on the 2 auction '73s also. Roger

I tried a *.zip file as an attachment. My zipped file was 214 KB and the site only allows a file of 83 KB or smaller. Roger

    1973 Corvette Database/Registry

I am doing the '73 only because that is what I own. I have been building the database/registry for over three years. I don't know of anyone/anything that has build information on the earlier Corvettes. GM has build information on '77 and later. Roger

    1973 Corvette Database/Registry

The database/registry is an Excel spreadsheet. I have 1,733 '73's listed now. I post the spreadsheet once a quarter at another Corvette website. If anyone is interested I will email you a copy of the file. I have tried to attach the file to a post here and the site will not allow it. Roger

    1973 Corvette Database/Registry

There was an article at another forum a couple years ago about using infrared light to read a faded ut build sheet. Something about using a digital camera withe the flash. The camera uses an infrared light to illuminate the object before the flash goes off. Also read the article at the Yankee...

    AC Blower

I installed a motor and fan for a 78 in my 73 last fall. It made a big difference and no alterations, ie spacer, was needed. Used a PM105 motor from AutoZone - it is for a 1978 Corvette. I had to make a difference vent tube since this motor had a small hole for the vent tube to fit into. Went...

    '73 Front Center Grille

In Virginia we are suppose to run a front license plate so the center grille is not an option for me. I run YOM plates to add a little ' class'. Upgrading to the aluminum wheels with black centers would add more to the looks than the front center grille. If I come across an extra $1,000 I'll...
