I think we may have found it. The tilt wheel when moved up and down makes the right brake lights work on/off. Ever hear of this one? What could be bad (other than a mystery wire(s)) in there that could cause this?

did more trouble shooting just now.... I removed the entire harness looking for broken wires, chaffing, etc. nothing. I've got power going into the connector by the diff. Running lights and turn signals work on the right side, but brakes and hazards do not work on right side. All fuses are good...
