The exhaust is a for sure thing, headers, cat-back, it has aluminum head now, have the cleaned up, port match the intake, if you find a used super ram intake that would be nice, the motor has a roller cam so stick to a roller, something like a 224/230 or 230/236 will make good power, comp cams...

Centerforce isn't bad, don't use the dual fricton line, Spec and Mcleod are also very good clutches. you most likely want a 10.5 clutch, and it should be a 26 spline input shaft. stay with a sprung clutch disc, meaning that the center of the clutch has springs to take the shock of engagement...
I have 08 Z51, and I love it, traded my 06 Zo6 for it, handles just as good, the hp is a different, but I had H/C my Zo6, but my 08 for 436 hp run's it's ass off.
