    Windshield and weather stripping

Inner seal What is the "inner seal"? I have a new weather stripping, from left over the top and down the right side door. There are some alu strips on top and the sides too. The "inner seal", for beauty and dust or mounting function? So far, roughly glass $700 "stationed in Germany"...

    Windshield and weather stripping

Other than the obvious, windshield, money and time, what is required when changing a C4 windshield? Parts wise. The shop, AutoGlas, in Germany, is asking about $2000.00. I checked out the list of stuff and was wondering if I could get myself, if I could get it myself and have them do the...

    Question: Temperature vs Thermostat

The new radiator is in. I had some leaves in the air dam. That and the old radiator being 1/3 decaid was the cause of the heating problem. Now the temp hangs around 195, I have a 195 thermostat. Yeah it goes up and down but on the autobahn it's fine. Thanks to all that gave me pointers...

    Question: Temperature vs Thermostat

air dam? I am new to the vette world. I take it that some air flow blockage seems to be the problem. I have a new radiator on order. When I install I will take a look to see if there was/is some blockage. Normal operating temp? Manual switch? Above 100 mph, temp to expect? Oil temp? I'm...

    Help! Vacuum Hose Diagram

After I got what you ment with the check valve, which I do not have or can nto locate, yet, I have capped the line. It looks like the HVAC is hooked directly to the back feed, without the check valve. Thanks for your time and interest. It has made the project easier. On the...

    Help! Vacuum Hose Diagram

This hose "X" that I have been trying to place, which was originally laying in the area of the two draw points, A & B on the diagram, may have been modified before my time. The HVAC line to which a check valve is connected would be about where? I may just cap it off. I do appreciate your...

    Help! Vacuum Hose Diagram

Vettoz, thanks again in advance. I find 3 vacumm sources noted, A and B by the distributer and C in the front. To which line should I attach #8 small hose cruise control. Not the big one. As far as you can see, is # 1 hooked up okay? There are two lines, a small and a big. The electric plug...

    Help! Vacuum Hose Diagram

The diagrams were a great help!! THANKS. A modification for my setup Vette. The EGR Sol is in the back by the HVAC line. I hooked that up, the EGR valve to the EGR Sol and "T"ed that off to the cruise control and that "T"ed to the ball canister by the vapor canister. I'll see after a drive...

I should have taken pictures or drawn a diagram of the setup before……. I pulled the heads on my 85 Vette. A task in its self! Most is back in its place, the car runs fine so the point. I do not know the layout of the vacuum hoses. Some were/are cracked, broken or not hooked up before and...
