Nice car. What are your plans for it?

If you get under a car that is not on jack stand, you are just asking for it. My jack let go for not reason, lowered it compeletly and it worked fine ever since. I still don't trust it. Use Jack stands, and the Jack as a back up.

Below is a picture of the motor mounts that were in my car when I pulled the motor. I’m not sure if they are factory correct or generic replacements. Anyone know? '63 340HP

I cleaned them up in my blast media cabinet using glass bead then washed them down with soap and water. I was really surprised how good they look. Perfectly clean with a satin like finish to them. I used the same clean-up method on the intake too. :cool

Is it possible the oil is coming from someplace other then the plug? I had a leak at the back of the intake manifold. The oil ran down the block, and ended up dripping from the oil pan plug. At first I thought it was the rear main seal, but I change the seal and the leak was still present. I...
