Question: Too high at the front after replacing rubbers and shock absorbers

The first pic looks exactly like my car now with 1in lower vbp springs, the second pic looks exactly like my car did with the original springs! Anybody around there with a newly lowered c3? Just sayin'... :ugh

Question: Too high at the front after replacing rubbers and shock absorbers

Is it possible it was pretty high to start with and you didn't notice? Many are high from the factory, mine certainly was.

Kate, did you tighten the bushings with the car in the air? Or with the suspension relaxed all the way down? When bushings are replaced you tighten the fulcrum bolts and nuts with the car on the ground, or on a drive on lift would be a lot easier :thumb.

    Everyone Loves C3's

:thumb :thumb Actually, I like 'em and corvettes in general a whole lot more than I used too, mostly since I've been working on dads '71 for three and a half years! The chrome c3's are just damn good looking cars, and I've seen a few rubber cars lately that turned me on too!

    C3 Windshield Replacement

Here's a heads up. On my '71, the insurance co (thru safelite) wouldn't just come replace the windshield, they needed me to bring it to one of their shops to have it done. They said on older cars like that they expected rust in the windshield frame and preferred to repair it themselves :(. I had...
