    Replacement Brake Pads

I'm sorry but I misspoke about where I got the VGX's. I got them from ZIP products and not MidAmerica. They ran about 150 + shipping for the set of four front and rear. Smitty

    Corsa Just Installed

I spent lots of time trying to decide what pipes to get for my C6 and after lots of ruminating I decided on the Corsa sports. I'm really happy with them. They're definitely louder than stock but at idle there's just this deep low rumbling. At low throttle you can definitely tell they're not...

    Need a Good paint shop

I don't know, it seems to me that a repaint never seems to be as good as the original paint job. I'm with the others, tell them to give you a new car. Smitty

    Run Flats Ran Flat

30 psi is definitely the pressure for the GY EMT's. To me they're downright quiet. My truck tires seem to make more noise than they do. As for the tire pressure sensors, they seem to be pretty much on the money. Smitty

    Run Flats Ran Flat

Remo; I originally thought of going to the dealership where I got my car but unfortunately they are about 50 miles up the road (I just don't trust the dealer close to me because of a previous disappointing service experience). The dealership I got my car at I would definitely trust...

    Run Flats Ran Flat

Got into my car this afternoon ready for my usual enjoyable drive home. I started the car up and immediately the obd computer told me that I had a right rear flat tire and that I was not to drive more than 55 mph and that the car's handling would be diminished. I didn't believe it so I got out...

    Replacement Brake Pads

I installed the VGX brake pads about 2 weeks ago and have since put on about 200 miles on them. They definitely do not dust much at all. They're also very quiet. Have not heard a squeal since I replaced them. As for performance I don't really notice any difference in their stopping ability from...

    CAGS eliminator

I thought I would get used to the 1st - 4th shifting but quickly became annoyed with it. So I ordered a CAGS eliminator from Mid America Motorworks. Installation was a snap (literally) and all I had to do was raise the left rear of the car and get underneath and disconnect the harness and...

XM Radio pricing - GM Promo $60/1 Year

I called XM to ask about the 60$ promo and was told that it's a promo to win back those people who let their xm service lapse and since I was still on my 90 day free period was not eligible for the promo. I take this to mean that I have to let my free subscription expire then call them up and...

    Cold Air Intake Questions

I am interested in installing a cold air intake on my C6. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what type of intake is made for the car and where to obtain one? Also does an exposed filter element vs. a shrouded filter element make a difference? Thanks for any replies...

    Sequential tail lights?

Sorry folks but I misplaced the response by Lawrence. The gist of the email was that there shouln't be any problem with my C6's OBD and either the sequential brake light modulator or the brake pulser. Smitty
