Yes, it is on the shifter. Take the cover off the driver side of console and pull shifter all the way to 2nd and you will see what I am talking about. Just grind or file enought for it to go into 1st.
For you 82 Vette owners as you know your shifter will not go back into 1st gear.Simply take your cover off driver side of console and either file or grind with die grinder the shifter stop so that the shifter will go into 1st gear manually.
Jack the car up and turn each tire by hand and have someone hit the brakes while you turn them. The one thats slow about releasing is the one with problem. Most of the time if it's on the front it the rubber hose.
I have the astro top. I think that it is a good investment for the money. I don't perticularly like the way it bolts on but for the price I can live with it. It cuts down on the wind noise tremindusly.
