My 87 callaway showed a check engine light. pulled over and heard a gurgling sound coming from the cooling reservior, coolant temp read 300 with a red light at the gauge. Anybody ? Had the car towed immediately.

replaced the alternator on my 87 callaway. Took the tension off replaced the alternator put the belt back on and started it up. after a minute it started making a noise. I took a long screwdriver and applied some pressure and the noise stoped. Anything special about replacing it ?

New member. I own a 87 callaway with 15000 on the car. Owned it for a few months. Can't seem to get a real value for this car. I found one on e-bay for 70000. A coupe with 45000 or so. Posted a question as to how they came up with that figure. No response. deciding on weather to hold onto it or...
