From your other posts, it is not clear to me which mask you are using, $32, $32B or $6E.
For the 1986 $32 Mask:

The ecm activates the O/D by providing ground to the O/D relay pin B.
A manual switch would simply need to ground pin B for activation and to open the circuit between pin B and ground in order to deactivate.
This applies to 86, but its close enough to describe how the circuits work...
I responded to your earlier posts on one of the other forums. Since you car's behavior doesn't fit into the normal patterns. I'm really curious as to what could be wrong.

Erratic behavior
No response from shifter switch
Both conditions cannot be explained by a single failure...
