Or, moved over to a Camaro forum.
Here's an interesting article in today's paper.
Pay close attention to Generation X.

Should Chevy Corvette have 2 versions? | freep.com | Detroit Free Press
So there you go. Only 16,000 vettes produced and it still required a massive clearance blowout at most dealers in my area.
I noticed some ads with dealers sitting on 40+ cars as late as October.
At 5000 they should have called it quits and ended the year.
At the very least GM needs to divert...
Dealer "blowout 09" discounts has made Corvette the biggest "loser" over the past year. As much as 20K under MSRP has sent residuals on 05-08 into the toilet with no help from its closely priced stablemate, the redesigned Camaro.

I'd say its a rather vague recall not typical of most recalls.
They're not saying if this an issue that will evolve into a problem with time and wear for all 05's.. OR..a hit and miss situation that won't affect cars not now experiencing the problem????
Fire the copywriter.. a little respect...
Read this article down to the bold underlined sentence.
So what is it???

I'm a bit disapointed with the dull wheels myself but I also can visualze shiny chrome on my black C6 as a bit overpowering taking away from the cars classy appearance.
Since its obvious GM will be doing nothing to satisfy those wanting a bit more shine, I'm wondering what it would take for...
Maybe its just me, but with nearly 1500 miles logged so far in all types of conditions, try as I may, I cannot feel any difference between the two settings?
My question...Is there a way to know while driving if indeed this expensive option is actually doing what was intended?

Exactly what are the proposed changes to the steering wheel?
May not look to sporty but I'm thinking a discreet set of radio controls and an extra 12v power plug located in the back deck area would be a welcome creature comfort improvement.
I was told by my dealer to apply the parking brake every time the car is parked as it somehow disengages the electronics.
Don't know if that is true, but for now I'm following directions.
