    Paint Job for c3

i just paid $7750 for my '72 in Steel Cities Grey. It looks great, but it took 4 trips back to the paint shop to fix issues and get it right.

Please take care of your baby (the Vette) after making it your own

Using water on a gasoline fire is really dumb. He's spreading the fire on the ground. That guy's an idiot.

    Best Paint Color

I saw a black C7 at my local dealer and, without having heard about the paint issues, thought it didn't look right. Now I know why. A silver C7 did look better.

    Seat Comfort?

I'm waiting to order my C7 until I see them in person in the colors I'm looking to choose from. In the meanwhile, I visited my local dealer when I heard they had two in the showroom. I found the seat bottoms in both cars to be uncomfortable with pressure against the outside of my thighs (I'm...

    Car Pulls When Braking

I think he's talking about the rubber hoses. I had one plug internally and it locked up a rear caliper causing a LOT of heat back there.

    Pulls Right During Acceleration

Talking to a friend about it and he thought it might be the clutch pack. Is that possible? It pulls on dry pavement where both wheels should be seeing the same torque.;shrug

    Pulls Right During Acceleration

My '72 pulls to the right during acceleration and returns to center when I push in the clutch or let off the gas. It doesn't seem to pull either way during straight and level driving. Any ideas?

    Help! Won't Start

I had a similar problem and it turned out to be a bad connection at the positive terminal of the battery. Good luck.

    Two-Post Car Lift?

Thanks very much for takiing the time to show me all this. I think I'm going to have to reconsider my options. I have to get a variance from the county for the roof peak height anyway, so maybe I'll go for a little more than I originally planned in order to allow a few more inches in ceiling...

    Two-Post Car Lift?

Yeah, I originally thought about turning a 2-car into a 3-car by using a 4 post lift, but I'm limited to a 9' ceiling. Are there multiple stopping points along the lift height for safety locks, etc.? Does the door open completely without hitting the windshield of your Vette? My son will be...

    Two-Post Car Lift?

How high is the ceiling in your garage? Does the lift come with a drip pan to protect the lower car? Thanks,

    Two-Post Car Lift?

I'm going to build a garage in the near future and want to put in a lift. I'm really tired of working under jack stands. Unless there's a strong reason for going with a 4-poster, I'm inclinded to go with a 2-post lift. The one I have in mind is Danmar MaxJax MaxJax Portable Two Post Lift -...

My earlier post included a photo I found online. This is my car.

    Help with color identification?

My '72 is Steel Cities Grey and at times it looks like it has some green in it, depending on the lighting.
