I'd have to argue about the "rattles and storage" We do quite a bit of traveling in out vert. No rattles, a nice size trunk, and the enjoyment of top down driving!

I agree with love-n-life. I swapped mine out a couple weeks ago. They are very tame, except at wot. They "bark". I believe they flow 40% better and weigh 11 1/2 lbs. I found these on Craigslist for $40.00 !! I would probably have gone a different route had I not gotten a steal on these. They'll...

My convertibe top has rubbed the paint (behind the driver) GM said they used thicker rubber seal from 2001 forward. It's not getting any worse, but the daamage is done. They wouldn't cover it under GMPP. Note to born2saw, we have "twins

Try "Magic Eraser". Avail. at Walmart, supermarkets etc. I was able to remove dark suntan lotion stains from lt. oak leather seats. Just follow the directions.

I too has the same problem on my vert. I replaced both gas springs for the whopping price of $7.68 each! This is from the GM drealer!! I think the "give up the ghost" after several years.

I read somehere that holding the fob to your chin while pressing the buttons increases the distance. I tried it and it works. (I think it's using your body as an antenna)
