96 LT-4 Original Smoked Composite Top

I sold my LT-4 in 2015 (yes I miss it dearly) and forgot about the original glass top. When I bought the 96, it only had 67,000 miles on it and the see through top wasn't installed, and I never used it. It's in fabulous shape and would love it to go to someone that's an aficionado. Price is...

Original 96 LT-4 Roof and Door sill covers

Hi fellow motorheads. I sold my LT-4 last year and forgot about the smoked lexan roof that was covered under a blanket it my back room. I al also have the original door sill covers that always seemed to fall off. ;) I'm in Oregon if anyone is interested. Thanks, Bill

C-4 315 offset Required for flush fit

Thanks and good stuff from all. It stands to reason that the GS LT-4 collector edition would have the same everything as my LT-4 coupe except, wider tires thus requiring the flares (I've been wrong before though) ;). Someone might have said something about a certain brand of tire rubbing due to...

C-4 315 offset Required for flush fit

Yes Hib, that's exactly what I meant. I remember two offsets, one being the ZR-1 and the other being for us flare less cats. Thanks for the clarification, something I struggle within the abstract world of discourse.

C-4 315 offset Required for flush fit

I searched numerous threads looking for the exact wheel offset needed for getting the almost flush fit with tread and fender. I easily found it last Winter but am struggling now to find the readily given info so freely shared here by all who know. Thanks, and repeat confirmation will be much...

LT4 Build list and Dyno run at Tom Wong's

In Dec, I bought a 96 LT-4 with 56,000 on it. I just got back from an extremely fun road trip through the Oregon twisties with a trip to Tommy Wong's shop In Vancouver Wa. Tom is a Corvette aficionado who has extensive knowledge and build skills. This stocker with muffler deletes maxed at 310...

(Picture Thread) Show your C4 to the world!

A moto bud from Australia photo-chopped it into this version. (very affordable) :L

(Picture Thread) Show your C4 to the world!

From 87 to a 96 Threw a rod in the 87 in 05 and sold it to my neighbor, solely based on the fact that he is visual and needed it. :L I then bought a WRX wagon for fun and mobility. Once paid, I had to have a 6-speed C-5. Fortunately, this 96 LT-4 popped up on Craigslist, while up in the...

    LT4 The ultimate LT4

"Power from idle to 6000rpm" haha, yep, this has me drooling at the thought of eventually doing a similar build. Perhaps even using the same builder, who obviously loves doing them. This is music to my ears. Thanks for sharing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A19-5nEeg-Q

    LT4 Breathing improvements

That could be what I have on my (new to me) LT4. It sounds great and has the four round outlets made outa stainless. I'm thinking headers are a definite addition at some point. This is my first day researching the LT4 and I'm (tickled pink, stoked, pumped) exited at the incredible small block...

    LT4 LT4 Collectibility

Howdy CAC members. Well I did it again and on wed morning saw a nice 96 6 speed with relatively low miles, 57,000, and I pulled the trigger and bought that sucker. I am amazed at just how torquey and fun this LT4 is and, how easy the 6 speed shifts and keeps it in the broad power range. I...

    Ahh! Blew it up...

Thanks grumps. I like the latter ones best. I'm thinking a 383 is the ticket.

    Ahh! Blew it up...

well it's knocking pretty bad and sounds like lower end. Funny thing is it only has 85,000 miles on it and doesn't even turn over 6 grand. It's a stock 87 L-98. I'm in the pacific northwest so if anyone has a motor, let me know. Thanks, Bill
