The edge trim on my 88 has sprung loose and I am searching for a rubber edge trim replacement.
Anyone know what might be appropriate to replace the existing metal trim ?
Thanks

Recently the clutch once again became soft with little travel for disengagement. Clutch fluid is dark, so I suspect that the slave cylinder has been contaminated with clutch dust. Upon inspection the clutch actuator rod boot that plugs into the bell housing is damaged and has probably resulted...
Thanks, I reviewed the procedure stipulated in the maintenance manual for disassembly. but it is unclear with respect to where the acrylic panel adhesive is located. It may be that the adhesive is located sporadically as opposed to a continuous bead between the frame and the panel. Can you...
I have two roof panels, one with a crack in the acrylic panel but a good frame, the other assembly has a reasonable panel but a poor frame. I want to remove the cracked panel and replace it with the spare.
Has anyone ever managed to disassemble the roof panel from the frame and do a swap from a...
The ECM does not set any codes unless forced to do so by a simulated failure of a sensor.
I use the WIN ALDL 160 Baud reader to view ECM parameters.
The ECM sets a rich flag that the software recognizes.
As soon as the engine goes Closed Loop the BLM drops from 128 to 108.
Thanks for the...
Has anyone ever managed to retrofit some kind of a dust boot to the slave cylinder for an 84 to 88 vette or has anyone created an adaptation
of a later model year slave that has a dust boot as standard equipment.
The 88 with its 4+3 transmission has a different bell housing than later...
Spark plugs were not fouled however the gap exceeded the .035 specification.
The color of the electrodes were brown as I recall.
Thanks for your input !

I agree that it is unlikely I have any leaking injectors based on the test results.
My 88 does not have a MAP sensor.
The TPS is set to 0.56 Volts and is stable.
This one is truly a mystery.

Subsequent testing has revealed a normal output from the MAF for the engine idle.
Fuel pressure holds for a considerable time after the ignition is shut off, so I do not think I have any leaking fuel injectors.
I have looked at all engine sensors including MAT and Coolant sensors and all have...
Further Testing as follows;
Fuel pressure Engine off, Ignition on 42 psig
Fuel pressure Engine off, Ignition off 41 psig and holds for longer than 5 minutes.
Fuel pressure regulator reduces rail pressure with vacuum applied.
